I hear you volunteer, tell me about that?
I love to be involved in my kids’ sports and help out where needed. Currently I am treasurer and life member of the Vikings Hockey Club. I have been a team manager of hockey and basketball teams too many times too count. I am the uniform co-ordinator of representative teams for Lower Great Southern Hockey Association. I was awarded with the Volunteer of the Year award from the hockey association and was a nominee of the Mike Stidwell award. Once I was asked to be the state manager for the U18 girls’ WA basketball team. Taking a dozen 16/17 year olds to Canberra for 2 weeks was a challenge. But that’s me, I love a challenge and most of all love to be organised.
