Let's all celebrate

By Jenni Leonard

It’s that time of year when we look back and reflect on what the year has brought us.  At Lincolns, we have welcomed new colleagues and said sad goodbyes to old friends.  We’ve celebrated some impressive career milestones and cheered on as others became engaged and got married.  Then there are the people who have reached a birthday containing a zero!

Come with us for a walk down the memory lane of 2018 …

Career milestones

40% of the Lincolns team have been with us for 10 years or more.  That’s an amazing stat.  In an era when staff turnover is a real issue for many organisations, this is a number we are immensely proud of.  We celebrated 7 special career milestones in 2018.

Seven new team members

We welcomed a whopping 7 people to the Lincolns team, a number of these being new roles – we are doing our bit for the government’s jobs and growth strategy!

Over the course of 2018 our Bookkeeping team has doubled with the addition of Elizabeth Sharp and Debbie Ross to the team.

We also appointed Rodney Russell as our IT Administrator.  Rod has been revolutionising the Lincolns IT systems and infrastructure and we are excited that IT services will become part of our offering to clients in 2019.

And two good byes

Two Lincolns team members left us to move onto the next phase of their careers – Katelyn Russell and Regan Brown.

Some significant birthdays

We cheered on as these old folks entered a new decade …

Marriages and engagements

Robin Russell and Charles Walmsley said “I do” in November and Michelle Salisbury said “Yes” to Gary Skippings when he popped the question in February.

A sad farewell

We were all overwhelmingly saddened by the passing of Christine Hueppauff.  Christine was a much loved part of our team for 7 years and her passing has left a huge hole in our team which will never be filled.  We miss Christine’s happy presence in the office terribly.  Vale Christine…

Looking ahead to 2019

Three Lincolns babies will be born in 2019.  Wishing Megan Hilder, Keira Henderson and Amy Lucas (pictured below left to right) all the very best for the coming months.

Michelle Salisbury and Maddi Harris-Richards will both be walking down the aisle in 2019 and our new gap year student, Shaan Wood, will be starting with us in January.

A message from the Lincolns team

We would like to wish all of our clients and friends a merry Christmas.  Thank you for your continuing support and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Our offices will be closed from 11.00am on Friday 21 December.  We will reopen on Wednesday 2 January 2019.
